Friday introduction - 10 things about me

You probably didn't know

• One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone walks in and straight onto my carpet with their shoes on. I can't imagine the places our shoes have travelled all day and the amount of germs they could possibly be tracking into our home.
• Drinking enough water throughout the day has always been a struggle for me. The entire day can go by and I will still manage to forget to even drink one cup. I am trying to get better at it for the sake of my health, and skin! I can’t drink room-temperature water. It has to be ice-cold and served with a straw. I usually add a lemon slice as well. A pretty water-bottle with calligraphy might help me up my water intake, too!
• Growing up, my brother and I shared a room for over a decade. We had two single beds next to each other. Whenever one of us got scared, we would sleep holding each other's hands outside of the mosquito net (Okay, maybe that happened just one time, but it’s stored in my hard-drive as one of my most cherished memories. And, yes, my childhood has seen many mosquito nets).
• I am somewhat of a Monica from Friends. I vacuum my vacuum cleaner after I have vacuumed my carpet. (Kidding! Okay, maybe I’m slightly exaggerating... or maybe not). Saying that out loud sounds crazier than it did in my head - I swear.  I could possibly get accustomed to a messy place but just not a dirty one.
• I have never had a glass of alcohol. The reason is not religious or anything. Most of my friends and family drink. I might even get into it in the future, but for right now... just don't feel the need.

• If I win the million dollar lottery - I would buy a big house, paid-in-full, for my parents, and send them to see as many of the national parks of America as they possibly could, buy a piano for my husband, pay off all our student loans, move into a reasonably-cozy house, and purchase two new cars before traveling to all sorts of countries. I would also buy two rooms full of shoes for both of us combined. I'm not joking! #shoegoals
• ​My favorite movie is The Fifth Element. In addition to that, I love most movies with some sort talking animals. I’m definitely a movie girl.
• I used to play the harmonium, but nowadays, I can barely remember the basics. Our private tutor used to always tell my brother (who was one of the two students) "Learn from your sister. Listen to how flawless she is! Say SA, RE, GA, MAAAAA." I got a kick out of it every time my brother shared that story in his humorous way. 
• I can eat pasta or rice every single day, and I am a fan of most dishes that have eggs in them.
• I love spicy food and everything my mom cooks. I don’t have a sweet tooth (however, soft brownies, cheesecake, mom’s custard, ice-cream yogurt, and chunky-monkey ice-cream are exceptions! But really, I don't have a sweet tooth).

• ​I love dancing and the only video “game” I’ll ever play is Dance Central. Bring it on!
