What's in your kitchen cabinets?
As I was planning and organizing my first home with my husband, I wanted to not only focus on the exterior decor that's easily viewable, but on the mostly-hidden interiors as well. When it comes to my kitchen, I like things organized for easy access. It's extremely frustrating when ingredients are not handy, and you never know where things are or what you have in stock. Therefore, by keeping your kitchen cabinets organized and essentials accessible, you're job will be easier and actually enjoyable. Who wouldn't want to be in a pretty space making pretty "tasty" things, right?
I have an inexplicable fascination towards containers to organize things. In my dream, I want to own every type of container there is out there. (Interesting... we used to make fun of my mom for this) Now to be realistic, I stuck to a few options that worked for my kitchen while I continue to expand my collection and learn my needs. Honestly, when you are first starting as newly-weds, you might not be aware of the type or the amount of storage boxes, containers, or baskets you'd require. As days go by and you learn to explore your culinary skills, your list of essential ingredients will add up, and so will your need for more storage products. Below I have listed out a few options for you. Have fun organizing some of these things in your life, so whenever you are in the kitchen and need to cook, you can feel prepared and good about being in it! I will show you how I have used containers and calligraphy to better organize my kitchen. It seems to always catch people's attention and turns into a talking point at a glance. Happy planning and happy shopping! Side note: when there is more than one person using the kitchen, it's important to make sure everyone is onboard with the same system of organization.
