Deals, deals, deals...
Every year, for the last decade, I'd wake up Friday morning at sunrise and go Black Friday shopping. This year I decided to skip the malls and all the hustle of shopping that sadly started the day of Thanksgiving. Instead, I'm planning on scoring deals on Cyber Monday from the comfort of my home or my cell phone! I mostly shop for shoes, accessories, and clothes on sale, so I can stock up for the following year. I don't actually spend on new clothes as often anymore. I maintain my clothes pretty well and have items from over a decade ago that I still rotate throughout the year. Which is why whenever I shop, I look for items that are on sale or will last the test of time. With the holiday season upon us and a growing holiday shopping list, I've put together a list of items, retailers, and small businesses to support during this major shopping time.
Target
They have 30% off select clothing and $50 off on Google Home device. I've never been into electronics and almost often rely on my husband to help me find the next best thing. We definitely look for sales on electronic devices during this time. I can't imagine life without my Google Home anymore. It makes life so much easier and it's personalized option catered to your voice is pretty nifty. It definitely makes a smart home, and one of my favorite features is "Okay Google, find my phone!" One other electronic device that comes pretty handy for us is our Google Chromecast (they now have the upgraded version: Google Chromecast Ultra) which lets you cast your TV shows movies, music, and more from your phone straight to your TV. In today's time and century when we use our phones for pretty much everything, the Chromecast turns your phone into a remote. Target also has pretty good Holiday home deals. Check them out! Sam Edelman They have a great collection of boots, pumps, loafers, and flats! Last year I invested in a pair of knee high boots. This year I'm looking for a pair of sandals and winter coats. TopShop Jeans One thing I come home with, after a full day of Black Friday shopping every year, is a pair (or pairs) of jeans. Although I like TopShop everything, there jeans are my favorite. Every pair fits differently and has a unique look to it.
Do you know of anything you can't find at Amazon? We use Amazon every week if not every single day. They have good deals not only on electronic devices but also on home decor and kitchen appliances.
Michaels They have 30% off Entire Online Order and free shipping with no minimum. Do you remember my previous blog post? It featured bud vases and decor items from Michaels. Good time to shop their now! Use coupon code CYBER30W. Philosophy I rely on quite a few Philosophy products for my ultra sensitive skin. Their Renewed Hope in a Jar products have been quite gentle. They are offering $30 off $100 with Code: thankfulsavings If you shop at Nordstrom for beauty deals, you can find philosophy and various other skin care products on sale there as well.
Small Business shopping
If you are looking to support small business owners and female entrepreneurs during holiday season shopping, please check out Marigold and Grey for artisan welcome gifts and Little Well Paper Co. for heartfelt greeting cards. I'll let their work speak for itself. I often update my shop page with places where I prefer to shop and with items that are my favorite or have been previously featured on the blog. Feel free to check out the page for references anytime in the futre. Enjoy shopping!
