Oh my! Spring Outfits

You know I have a thing for details. I talk about it, whenever I am sharing tips on event planning and home-decor styling. Just when I was on the lookout for new tops, I received the weekly Nordstrom email that read “ALL IN THE DETAILS,” and they got me, guys...they got me good... and, for all good reasons.

​Ruffles and bows speak to me. Yep, they do. They always have. So whenever I see the playful ruffles working up the details, I turn into a heart-eyed emoji! I am excited, because ruffles and bows seem to be all the rage this season. If I could, I'd buy every single one from that long list of my summer + spring wardrobe wish-list, but that would be silly (not to mention, break the bank)! I strove to narrow it down to a few that I strongly admire and a few I couldn’t financially indulge in just yet. Given the current spring season and the fact that we are very close to wedding season and have various wedding-related errands to run, events to attend, or places to visit, this list might be very useful for casual days.

Did someone just say sweatshirt with ruffles? I'm game! ​​There is no denying that I always enjoy the comfort of a sweatshirt, and when you mix comfort with pretty - you just have it all.

"​A lightweight stretch-cotton and fluttery tiered ruffles made for soaking up the sunshine"- Need I say more? Summer is very near, and I'm looking to invest in some light and airy feel for the hot days ahead. One should ruffles tops are so playful.

​A striped top with ruffles for both work and play! I can see myself pairing this spring top with jeans for a casual weekend look or with a nice skirt (mustard or magenta) and heels for a more formal flare.

​I like big bows, and I can not lie! A simple and casual tee-shirt with an exaggerated bow definitely has my attention. Once again, comfortable and chic!
